Announcement on organizing the second Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable development under Chapter 13 of the Free Trade Agreement between Viet nam and the European Union (EVFTA)

Aiming at implementing the commitments under Chapter 13 on Trade and Sustainable Development (TSD) in the Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and the European Union (EVFTA), the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as the designiated agency for implementing the TSD Chapter and the Secretariat of the Viet Nam Domestic Advisory Group (DAG), plans to organise the second Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable Development. 

Aiming at implementing the commitments under Chapter 13 on Trade and Sustainable Development (TSD) in the Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and the European Union (EVFTA), the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as the designiated agency for implementing the TSD Chapter and the Secretariat of the Viet Nam Domestic Advisory Group (DAG), plans to organize the second Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable Development with details as follows:

Time: 14:00 on 20 October 2022

Venue: Pan Pacific Hotel, No. 1 Thanh Nien Street, Ha Noi.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade cordially invites interested organizations to register for participation in the Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable Development using the attached form. Registration is to be sent to the following address:

Deadline for submission of registration: 17h00 on 12 October 2022 (in case the number of registrations exceeds the capacity of the venue, the organizer may not be able to accept all applications sent before the above deadline).

Participants are selected on the basis of their organization’s fields of activity directly relating to the scope of Chapter 13 of the EVFTA, and ensuring a balance between economic, social and environmental sectors.
